Are fire extinguishers tracked as assets in MapTrack?
Yes. Each extinguisher (or group, if you prefer) can be an asset in MapTrack. You attach inspections, certificates and documents to that asset. Location and custody can be tracked (e.g. which site, which zone) so you know where each unit is and when it was last checked.
Can we schedule recurring inspections?
Yes. You can set up recurring inspection schedules and use work orders or forms to trigger and record checks. MapTrack supports meter-based and time-based triggers; for extinguishers, time-based or calendar schedules are typical. Expiry alerts help you avoid missing renewals.
