Does MapTrack work on remote or low-connectivity sites?

Yes. MapTrack is built for field use with offline support. Field crews can scan assets, complete pre-start forms, update work orders and record meter readings in areas with no connectivity. Data syncs automatically when the device comes back online. This is critical for remote oil & gas facilities, offshore support bases, pipeline corridors and processing plants where cellular coverage is limited or absent.

Can we trigger maintenance from engine hours or runtime?

Yes. Meter-based maintenance triggers (runtime hours, engine hours, odometer) drive work orders in MapTrack. Where you have OEM or telematics integrations (Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, John Deere, Teletrac Navman, Geotab and others), meter data feeds in automatically so you’re servicing based on real usage. Not just the calendar. Manual meter readings are also supported where telematics is not fitted.
