10+ years in the field. One complete rebuild.
MapTrack is an Australian-founded asset tracking platform, established in 2012, that helps construction, mining and field service teams track tools, equipment, plant and fleet across multiple sites. The platform was rebuilt from the ground up in 2022 after 300+ direct user research sessions, and now serves teams in 6+ countries including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the US and Canada.
MapTrack started in 2012 when three co-founders, each with deep experience in construction, mining and field services, got tired of watching teams lose track of their most valuable assets. Spreadsheets, whiteboards and disconnected systems were the norm. Nobody had a single source of truth.
So we built one. For over a decade, MapTrack helped Australian teams track tools, equipment and plant across sites and crews. Along the way, the team sat down with more than 300 customers for direct user sessions, watching how people actually worked in the field, not how software companies assumed they did.
In 2022, MapTrack was rebuilt from the ground up. Every insight from 10+ years of real-world use went into a new platform: AI-powered asset tracking, digital pre-start inspections, compliance registers, GPS tracking, work orders and scheduling, all in one system. No bolt-ons. No workarounds.
Today, MapTrack serves construction, civil, mining, facilities and field service teams across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the US, Canada and beyond.

Outside work, you’ll find Jarrod at the gym, hunting down good food, or at a music festival.
