SOC 2 Type II
SOC 2 Type II certification is on our 2026 roadmap. We already implement the controls required by the Trust Services Criteria across security, availability and confidentiality.

- Where is my data stored?
- Your data is stored on AWS in the Sydney region (ap-southeast-2) by default. Enterprise customers can choose US or EU data residency to meet local regulatory requirements.
- Is MapTrack compliant with Australian privacy law?
- Yes. MapTrack complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We take our obligations under Australian law seriously and review our practices regularly.
- Can I export my data?
- Yes. You can export your full dataset at any time in CSV or JSON format. There is no lock-in and no additional cost for data exports.
- What happens to my data if I cancel?
- Your data is preserved in read-only mode for 90 days after cancellation. During this period you can re-activate your account or request a full data export. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted.
- Do you have SOC 2 certification?
