Which OSHA standards do these templates cover?

Apart from one mining checklist, the templates cite OSHA standards for US general industry (29 CFR 1910) and construction (29 CFR 1926), including 29 CFR 1910.178 (powered industrial trucks), 29 CFR 1926.451 (scaffolds), 29 CFR 1926.1412 (crane inspections), 29 CFR 1910.147 (lockout/tagout), 29 CFR 1910.146 (permit-required confined spaces), 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P (excavations) and 29 CFR 1926.502 (fall protection systems). That workplace examination checklist is for metal and nonmetal mines and cites MSHA's 30 CFR 56.18002 and 57.18002. Each template page lists the standards it references, so check each form against the rules that apply where you work.

Can I use these templates outside the United States?

OSHA covers most private-sector employers and workers in the 50 states, the District of Columbia and other US jurisdictions, either directly or through an OSHA-approved State Plan, which must be at least as effective as federal OSHA. Where a state or territory runs a State Plan, check the plan's own standards too, which can go further than OSHA's; once a plan has final approval, they replace OSHA's for the issues it covers. Mines come under MSHA's rules rather than OSHA's. Outside the US, your local health and safety law applies, so check each checklist against it before you rely on it. The checklists can still be a useful starting point for the same kinds of inspections.
