How teams use key tags with MapTrack
An Econotag is the quick, physical answer to "whose key is this?". It is a lightweight polyethylene tag with a writable insert area that goes on a standard key ring, cable tie or wire loop. A MapTrack QR label is the digital half: put both on the same item and anyone can read the tag at a glance, then scan the label to open its record.
Vehicle, plant room and padlock keys
Write the rego number, fleet ID, room or padlock number on the insert, and use the reverse side for extra notes or return-if-found details. Master keys, padlock keys and access keys across several depots stay organised, and a vehicle key is matched to its vehicle without anyone opening an app. The key-ring slot also fits padlock shanks, so you can colour-code by zone or responsible person for a lockout/tagout program.
Tools, batteries and leads

Returns, refunds and warranty
- Faulty, damaged on arrival, not as described or the wrong item: return it within 30 days of delivery and MapTrack covers return shipping.
- Changed your mind: unused items in their original sealed packaging and in resalable condition can come back within 30 days of delivery, and you pay the return postage.
- To start a return, email support@maptrack.com with your order number. We reply within one business day with a return number and shipping instructions.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 business days.
