Remora3 features and specifications
The Remora3 is the powerhouse of the battery-powered range. Two D-cell lithium batteries give it the energy for more frequent updates while it's moving, with periodic check-ins while it's stationary: up to 20 years at one update a day, and up to 10 years at one update an hour. The built-in Bluetooth gateway detects nearby BLE tags and sensors, a magnetic tamper alert triggers instantly if the device is removed, and the IP68 housing shrugs off submersion, pressure washing, and construction site abuse. Choose the Remora3 when you need the highest update frequency from a battery-powered device.

How long the Remora3 battery lasts
Battery life depends on how often the tracker reports its position. These are the rated figures for the Remora3, each at the update rate it assumes. Temperature, signal and your tracking settings change them, so we size the reporting rate with you in the demo.
