About the E5 Beacon
The E5 Location Beacon is the go-to BLE tag for extending your MapTrack tracking coverage to smaller assets and indoor environments. Attach an E5 to tools, safety equipment, pallets, or portable electronics, and any MapTrack GPS tracker with a Bluetooth gateway (Oyster Edge, Oyster BLE, Remora3, G70 BLE, Dart3) will automatically detect and report its proximity. This hub-and-spoke model lets you track hundreds of items using a handful of cellular GPS devices. The E5 transmits on BLE 5.0 with a configurable broadcast interval, delivering 5+ years of battery life with a range of up to 120 metres in open areas. Compatible with iOS 7.0+ and Android 4.3+.
