Asset label sample pack
Test Custom QR Asset Labels Before a Rollout
Request samples for the surfaces your assets actually face: painted metal, powder coat, tool cases, plant, trailers, washdown areas and outdoor equipment. The goal is to validate material, adhesion and scannability before you order hundreds or thousands of labels.
What to test
A sample should prove the whole asset workflow
Adhesion and surface fit
Apply samples to real asset surfaces after cleaning: metal, plastic, powder coat, curved cases and rough equipment.
QR scan reliability
Test phones in sunlight, shade, dust and normal handling so code size and placement work in the field.
Rollout readiness
Confirm logo, asset ID format, return number, QR destination and MapTrack linking before production.
Sample test log
Record the evidence before you scale the rollout
Treat a sample pack like a field test. The notes below help the team decide whether to order standard labels, change placement or quote a metal tag before production.
Asset and surface
Asset type, surface material, paint or powder coat, curve, texture and whether the area is usually oily or dusty.
Surface preparation
Cleaning method, whether IPA was used, dry time and whether loose paint or residue remained.
Application result
Label size, placement, edge lift after pressing, and whether the code scans from the working distance.
Exposure test
Sun, shade, dust, rain, washdown, fuel, oil, abrasion, vibration or normal site handling after application.
Workflow check
Whether the QR code opened the right MapTrack record, check-out, inspection or fault workflow.
