Asset label material
Aluminium Asset Labels for Australian Equipment
Anodised aluminium asset labels suit long-life fixed assets where buyers want a rigid plate, strong outdoor presence and a proofed QR, barcode or serial layout before production.
Quoted after proof because thickness, holes, adhesive, code format and geometry change the production method. We quote the production path before payment so the material, code size and mounting method match the asset.

Best fit
- Trailers, containers, fixed machinery and long-life outdoor assets.
- Assets where a plate is preferred over a flexible synthetic label.
- Rollouts needing holes, rivets, screws or non-standard dimensions.
Quote or sample first when
- You need a fast, low-cost label for hundreds of small hand tools.
- The asset operates in corrosive marine or washdown environments better suited to stainless steel.
- You do not yet know the mounting method or surface preparation plan.

Every label order is proofed around the asset, scan distance and rollout plan. Standard QR labels can be paid online; metal, barcode and mechanical mounting combinations are confirmed before production.

Trailers, containers and fixed plant
Aluminium suits long-life outdoor assets that need a rigid owner plate but do not face severe corrosion or washdown.
- Confirm whether the plate should use adhesive, holes or both.
- Choose a position visible from ground level and clear of scrape zones.
- Make the QR code large enough for the safe scan distance.
- Use polycarbonate instead when full-colour branding and online speed matter more than a rigid plate.
Sizes by material
Aluminium label sizes for tools, plant and equipment
Use the smallest readable label that fits the surface. Larger assets and longer scan distances usually need a larger QR code or a quoted custom plate.
Aluminium Small
35 × 17 mm aluminium asset labels
Best for hand tools, power tools, it assets, small equipment. Quote this size or a custom dimension with mounting and code format confirmed before production.

Test the label on real equipment before a large rollout
A useful sample should prove more than material feel. MapTrack ties the label test to the scan workflow, asset record and rollout design.
Send the asset type, surface, mounting preference and expected quantity.
MapTrack confirms code format, scan distance and artwork before production.
Request a sample for critical surfaces or long-life outdoor rollouts.

Common questions
Labels plus tracking
The label is the entry point to the asset record
MapTrack labels do more than identify equipment. Scanning opens check-out, inspections, history, faults and optional GPS or Bluetooth location workflows.
