Just created your account, or about to? Here is exactly what to do next. Five steps take you from an empty workspace to your first completed inspection: import your assets, tag them, invite your team and scan.

The 15-minute checklist
Do these five things in order. None of them needs IT, a projector or a meeting.
1.Create your account
2 minStart your free 30-day trial with your email. A company address is recommended if you have one, but a personal email works too. No credit card required.
2.Import your assets (CSV)
5 minDownload the template below, drop in your asset list and upload it in MapTrack. The template starts with the three core asset columns. Create any matching custom fields in MapTrack before importing extra columns. Start with your highest-value gear - you can import more any time.
3.Print or order your QR tags
3 minPrint QR labels straight from MapTrack, or order durable industrial tags from the label store for gear that lives outdoors, in utes or on site. Stick them where they are easy to scan and hard to damage.
4.Invite your team
2 minAdd your crew from Settings - unlimited users, your whole team at no extra cost. Anyone who scans a tag sees that asset’s details and the right form, straight from their phone.
5.Run your first inspection
3 minScan a tag with your phone camera and complete a pre-start or condition check. That first scan proves the loop works end to end - from here it is just repetition. Want ready-made forms? Browse the free template library.

Three core columns, no formulas, three example rows to overwrite. Category and Location are required for every asset row. Description is optional. Create matching custom fields in MapTrack before importing any extra columns.
